Test 55C - Diagnosing Compass/Temp Module Vac Fluorescent Display

NOTE: For connector terminal identification, see CONNECTOR IDENTIFICATION. For wiring diagram, see WIRING DIAGRAMS . Perform TEST VER-1 after each repair.

CAUTION: Always turn ignition switch to OFF position prior to disconnecting or connecting any module connector.

Using DRB, actuate Vacuum Fluorescent (VF) display test. If all segments do not light on display, replace compass/temperature module. If all segments light on display, system is okay at this time.
