Test 63B - Repairing No Chime Function

NOTE: For connector terminal identification, see CONNECTOR  IDENTIFICATION. For wiring diagram, see WIRING DIAGRAMS  . Perform TEST VER-1 after each repair.
CAUTION: Always turn ignition switch to OFF position prior to disconnecting or connecting any module connector.
  1. Close all doors. Turn ignition switch to ON position, engine off. Using DRB, actuate chime test. If chime does not sound, replace Body Control Module (BCM). If chime sounds, go to next step.
  2. Using DRB, read key in ignition status. If DRB displays KEY IN IGN : CLOSED, replace BCM. If DRB does not display KEY IN IGN : CLOSED, go to TEST 64G.
