Test 4A - Diagnosing Warning Lamp Problems
NOTE:
Oil pressure warning lamp and brake warning lamp cannot be actuated using DRB.
- If a problem exists with oil pressure warning lamp, go to TEST 10A. If a problem does not exist with oil pressure warning lamp, use DRB to actuate each instrument cluster warning lamp. If warning lamps turn on then off, actuator test passes. Go to next step. If actuator test fails, go to TEST 4B.
- Stop actuation test. Identify faulty lamp. Perform appropriate test listed in DIAGNOSING WARNING LAMP PROBLEMS table. If no warning lamp problems exist, system is operating properly at this time.
