Test 42A - Repairing Door Lock Inhibit System

NOTE: For connector terminal identification, see CONNECTOR  IDENTIFICATION. For wiring diagram, see WIRING DIAGRAMS  . Perform TEST VER-1 after each repair.
CAUTION: Always turn ignition switch to OFF position prior to disconnecting or connecting any module connector.
  1. Open left front door. Using DRB, read left front door ajar status. If DRB does not display LF DOOR AJAR : CLOSED, go to TEST 65A. If DRB displays LF DOOR AJAR : CLOSED, go to next step.
  2. Close left front door. If DRB does not display LF DOOR AJAR : OPEN, go to TEST 65B. If DRB displays LF DOOR AJAR : OPEN, go to next step.
  3. Ensure ignition key is in ignition switch. Using DRB, read key in ignition switch status. If DRB does not display KEY IN IGN : CLOSED, go to TEST 64G. If DRB displays KEY IN IGN : CLOSED, replace body control module.
