Test 42A - Repairing Door Lock Inhibit System

NOTE:

IDENTIFICATION. For wiring diagram, see WIRING DIAGRAMS
. Perform TEST VER-1 after each repair.
CAUTION:
Always turn ignition switch to OFF position prior to disconnecting or connecting any module connector.
- Open left front door. Using DRB, read left front door ajar status. If DRB does not display LF DOOR AJAR : CLOSED, go to TEST 65A. If DRB displays LF DOOR AJAR : CLOSED, go to next step.
- Close left front door. If DRB does not display LF DOOR AJAR : OPEN, go to TEST 65B. If DRB displays LF DOOR AJAR : OPEN, go to next step.
- Ensure ignition key is in ignition switch. Using DRB, read key in ignition switch status. If DRB does not display KEY IN IGN : CLOSED, go to TEST 64G. If DRB displays KEY IN IGN : CLOSED, replace body control module.
