Test 64B - Repairing No Chime With Key In Ignition

NOTE: For connector terminal identification, see CONNECTOR  IDENTIFICATION. For wiring diagram, see WIRING DIAGRAMS  . Perform TEST VER-1 after each repair.
CAUTION: Always turn ignition switch to OFF position prior to disconnecting or connecting any module connector.
  1. Turn ignition switch to OFF position. Ensure key is in ignition. Open driver's door. If chime sounds, system is okay at this time. If chime does not sound, go to next step.
  2. Using DRB, read left door ajar switch status. If DRB does not display LF DOOR AJAR : CLOSED, go to TEST 65A. If DRB displays LF DOOR AJAR : CLOSED, go to next step.
  3. Using DRB, read key in ignition status. If DRB displays KEY IN IGN : CLOSED, replace body control module. If DRB does not display KEY IN IGN : CLOSED, go to TEST 64G.
