Idle Speed Control Servo (1.8L)

- Idle speed control servo is located on throttle body. Disconnect idle speed control servo connector. Check continuity of idle speed control servo coil.
- Using an ohmmeter, check resistance between idle speed control servo connector terminals No. 1 and 2. See Figure . Ohmmeter should read 5-35 ohms at 68°F (20°C). Connect a 6-volt power source across idle speed control servo connector terminals No. 1 and 2. Idle speed control servo should operate. Replace idle speed control servo if it does not test as described.
