Test 113A - Body Control Module (BCM) No Response Condition
NOTE:
For connector terminal identification, see CONNECTOR IDENTIFICATION
. For wiring diagrams, see appropriate article in ENGINE PERFORMANCE:

- Perform TEST VER-1 after each repair.CAUTION: Always turn ignition off prior to disconnecting any module connector.
- Turn ignition off. Disconnect Body Control Module (BCM) Bone connector. BCM is located behind right kick panel. Using scan tool in voltmeter mode, check voltage on BCM Bone connector terminal No. 19 (Pink wire). If voltage is less than 10 volts, repair open Pink wire. If voltage is more than 10 volts, go to next step.
- Using scan tool in ohmmeter mode, check resistance of BCM Bone connector terminal No. 21 (Black wire). If resistance is more than 5 ohms, repair open Black wire. If resistance is less than 5 ohms, go to next step.
- Using scan tool in ohmmeter mode, check resistance of BCM Bone connector terminal No. 14 (Black/Light Green wire). If resistance is more than 100 ohms, repair open Black/Light Green wire. If resistance is less than 100 ohms, go to next step.
- Using an external ohmmeter, check resistance of Violet/Brown wire between Data Link Connector (DLC) terminal No. 4 and BCM Bone connector terminal No. 8. If resistance is more than 5 ohms, repair open Violet/Brown wire. If resistance is less than 5 ohms, go to next step.
- Using an external ohmmeter, check resistance of White/Black wire between DLC terminal No. 3 and BCM Bone connector terminal No. 7. If resistance is more than 5 ohms, repair open White/Black wire. If resistance is less than 5 ohms, replace BCM.
