Infinity Radio Test 1A - Identifying CCD Radio Problems
- Using scan tool, select AUDIO. If scan tool displays NO RESPONSE, go to TEST 21. If scan tool does not display NO RESPONSE, go to next step.
- Using scan tool, read radio trouble codes. If scan tool displays any messages, go to TEST 1B. If scan tool does not display any messages, go to next step.
- CCD radio diagnostics are separated into 2 categories: radio failures and system failures. For radio failures, go to next step. Problem Perform No Sound From One Speaker Infinity Radio Test 3A No Sound From All Speakers Infinity Radio Test 4A Poor Sound Quality From One Speaker Infinity Radio Test 5A Noise Distortion From One Speaker Infinity Radio Test 6A - If any of the following radio failures exist, replace radio:
- AM/FM Switch Inoperative
- Balance Joystick Inoperative
- Eject Switch Inoperative
- CD Eject Switch Inoperative
- Equalizer Inoperative
- FF/RW Switch Inoperative
- Hour/Minute Switches Inoperative
- PWR Switch Inoperative
- Pause/Play Switch Inoperative.
- Scan Switch Inoperative.
- Seek Switch Inoperative.
- Set Switch Inoperative.
- Tape Eject Switch Inoperative
- Tune Switch Inoperative.
- Vol/Time Switch Inoperative.
- 1-5 Presets Inoperative.
