Wipers Run At High Speed With Switch In Low Speed Position. Wipers Operate In Intermittent Mode, But Each Wipe Is At High Speed
- Disconnect wiper motor connector. Using a jumper wire, connect battery voltage to wiper motor connector terminal No. 3 (Brown/White wire). Connect a second jumper wire between ground and wiper motor connector terminal No. 4 (Black wire). See Figure . If motor runs at low speed, go to step 3). If motor runs at high speed, go to next step.
- Check for faulty HI-LO wiper relay. Check for crossed wires at motor wire connector terminals No. 2 (Red/Yellow wire) and No. 3 (Brown/White wire). See Figure .
- Turn ignition off. Disconnect BCM Bone 24-pin J3 connector and remove intermittent wiper relay. See Figure and Figure . Using ohmmeter, check for continuity in Violet wire between BCM Bone 24-pin J3 connector, terminal No. 18 and HI-LO relay connector terminal "C". If continuity does not exist, repair as necessary. If continuity exists, replace BCM.
