Wiper/Washer Switch Test

Wiper/washer switch is part of multifunction switch. Remove steering column upper and lower shroud, and disconnect multifunction switch connector. See WIPER SWITCH  under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION. Measure continuity between switch terminals in each switch position. See WIPER/WASHER SWITCH CONTINUITY  . See Fig 1 .

(1) Resistance at maximum delay position should be 9.72 k/ohms and at minimum delay position should be 2.22 k/ohms.
