VTSS Test 1B - Disarming VTSS System

NOTE: Perform VTSS TEST 1A  before proceeding with this test. For connector terminal identification, refer to CONNECTOR IDENTIFICATION  . For wiring diagrams, refer to WIRING DIAGRAMS  . Perform, after each repair, VERIFICATION TEST VER-1A - VERIFICATION PROCEDURE  .
  1. Turn ignition off. Insert key in driver's door and turn to unlock position. Turn ignition on. Using scan tool, read VTSS status. If scan tool does not display CURRENT MODE DISARMED, go to next step. If scan tool displays CURRENT MODE DISARMED, system is currently functioning correctly. Go to VTSS TEST 1A  .
  2. Turn ignition off. Insert key in right front door and turn to unlock position. Turn ignition on. Using scan tool, read VTSS status. If scan tool does not display CURRENT MODE DISARMED, go to POWER DOOR LOCK TEST 17B  . If scan tool displays CURRENT MODE DISARMED, system is currently functioning correctly. Go to POWER DOOR LOCK TEST 17B  .
