Power Door Lock Test 6A - Inoperative Door Lock Inhibit Circuit

NOTE: Perform POWER DOOR LOCK TEST 1A  before proceeding with this test. For connector terminal identification, refer to CONNECTOR IDENTIFICATION  . For wiring diagrams, refer to WIRING DIAGRAMS  . Perform, after each repair, VERIFICATION TEST VER-1A - VERIFICATION PROCEDURE  .
CAUTION: Always turn ignition switch to OFF position prior to disconnecting or connecting any module connector.
  1. Turn ignition on. Using scan tool, select BODY COMPUTER then I/O. Open and close left front door and read left front door ajar status. If scan tool left front door ajar status changes from OPEN to CLOSED, go to next step. If scan tool left front door ajar status does not change from OPEN to CLOSED, go to DOOR AJAR TEST 1A  .
  2. Ensure left front door is open. Using scan tool, read key-in ignition status. If scan tool does not display KEY-IN, go to next step. If scan tool displays KEY-IN, replace Central Timer Module (CTM). CTM is located behind right kick panel.
  3. Access CTM 14-pin Green connector "A". Remove connector cover. Do not disconnect connector. Using an external voltmeter, measure voltage between ground and CTM 14-pin Green connector "A" terminal No. 9 (Light Blue wire). If voltage is less than 1.5 volts, replace CTM. If voltage is 1.5 volts or more, replace ignition switch.
