Power Windows

NOTE: This wiring test determines whether or not voltage is continuous through body harness to power window switch.

Remove switch for testing. See POWER WINDOW SWITCH . Connect a voltmeter positive lead to Pin 4 and negative lead to Pin 3 of switch connector for pin call-outs. See Figure. Turn ignition switch to ON position. Voltmeter should read battery voltage. If okay, go to Window Switch Test. See POWER WINDOW SWITCH TEST . If not okay, check 30-amp circuit breaker behind fuse block or circuit for a broken wire. For wiring, specific connector type and location, refer to appropriate wiring information.
