Central Timer Module

  1. If Central Timer Module (CTM) is replaced, turn ignition on for 15 seconds or engine may not start (if equipped with anti-theft system). If vehicle is equipped with anti-theft system, use scan tool and enable anti-theft system. Program other components as necessary.
  2. Ensure all accessories are off and battery is charged. Turn ignition off and wait 5 minutes. Turn ignition on and use scan tool to read Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTC) from all modules. If any DTCs are present, see SELF-DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM  . If no DTCs are present and problem cannot be duplicated, repair is complete.
