Body Verification Test

- Turn ignition off. Disconnect any previously connected jumper wires and tools. Reconnect any previously disconnected components and connectors, except battery. Turn ignition on, then reconnect battery.
- Turn ignition off. If Central Timer Module (CTM) has been replaced, turn ignition on for 15 seconds. Turn ignition off. Connect scan tool to Data Link Connector (DLC). Turn ignition on.
- Using scan tool with most current software available, enable Vehicle Theft Security System (VTSS), program all RKE transmitters and program other options as necessary. Ensure all accessories are turned off and that battery is fully charged.
- Using scan tool, clear Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTC). Turn ignition off and wait 5 seconds. Turn ignition on. Using scan tool read DTCs from all modules. If any DTCs are present, go to DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE IDENTIFICATION table under SELF-DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM and perform corresponding test(s). If no DTCs are present but customer complaint can be duplicated, go to SYMPTOM IDENTIFICATION table under SELF-DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM and repair by symptom. If no DTCs are present and customer complaint cannot be duplicated, repair is complete.
