Incorrect Temperature Reading Beyond +/- 5

NOTE: After repairs for any Ambient Temperature Sensor (ATS) problem, vehicle must be driven continuously over 3 miles above 25 MPH in order to update Overhead Traveler Information System (OTIS) display.

If outside temperature and Ambient Temperature Sensor (ATS) reading vary by more than 5°F or less than 5°F actual outside temperature, ATS is defective. Replace ATS. See COMPONENT LOCATIONS  . Perform BODY VERIFICATION TEST  after repairs.
