Liftgate Fails To Lock/Unlock From Any Switch (Durango)

  1. Turn ignition switch to OFF position. Disconnect inoperable liftgate door lock motor harness connector. Disconnect CTM connector C2. Measure resistance of Orange/Black wire between CTM connector C2 terminal No. 1 and liftgate door lock motor harness connector. If reading is more than 5 ohms, locate and repair open in Orange/Black wire between liftgate door lock motor driver and CTM connector C2 terminal No. 1. Perform BODY VERIFICATION TEST  . If reading is 5 ohms or less, go to next step.
  2. Ensure ignition switch is in OFF position. Measure resistance of Pink/Black wire between CTM connector C2 terminal No. 9 and liftgate door lock motor harness connector. If reading is more than 5 ohms, locate and repair open in Pink/Black wire between liftgate door lock motor, CTM connector C2 terminal No. 9 and driver unlock relay in relay and fuse center. Perform BODY VERIFICATION TEST  . If reading is 5 ohms or less, replace liftgate door lock motor.
