GENERAL DESCRIPTIONThe 42LE electronic transaxles is a conventional transaxle in that it uses hydraulically applied clutches to shift a planetary gear train. However, the electronic control system replaces many of the mechanical and hydraulic components used in conventional transmission valve bodies.
