Power Window Switch: Service and Repair

REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION
1. Disconnect and isolate the battery negative cable.
2. Remove the mirror flag bezel from the inside of the front door.

Power Window Switch Remove/Install:

3. From the back side of the mirror flag bezel, remove the screws that secure the power window and power lock switch and mounting plate unit to the mirror flag bezel.
4. Remove the power window and power lock switch and mounting plate unit from the mirror flag bezel.
5. With a small thin-bladed screwdriver, gently pry the snap clips at the sides of the power window switch receptacle on the back of the switch mounting plate and pull the switch out of the receptacle.
6. Reverse the removal procedures to install. Be certain that both of the switch snap retainers in the receptacle on the back of the switch mounting plate are fully engaged. Tighten the mounting screws to 2.2 Nm (20 in. lbs.).
