Retrieving Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) Using Scan Tool

Connect DRB scan tool to data link (diagnostic) connector. This connector is located in passenger compartment; at lower edge of instrument panel; near steering column. Turn ignition switch on and access "Read Fault" screen.
Record all DTC's and "freeze frame" information shown on DRB scan tool. To erase DTC's, use "Erase Trouble Code" data screen on DRB scan tool. Do not erase any DTC's until problems have been investigated and repairs have been performed.
