Compass Calibration Procedure

Turn ignition off, then on. If compass/temperature data is not currently being displayed, momentarily depress and release STEP button to step through display options until you have reached compass/temperature display. Depress and hold both US/M and STEP buttons for approximately 10 seconds until CAL is displayed. Release both buttons. Drive vehicle on level surface away from metal objects and power lines through 3 or more complete circles in not less than 48 seconds. CAL message will disappear to indicate compass is calibrated.
