All Doors Except Driver's Fail To Lock & Unlock

  1. Turn headlights on. If right headlights operate, go to next step. If right headlights do not operate, diagnose headlight system first. See HEADLIGHT SYSTEMS article.
  2. Disconnect Gray 16-pin Central Timer Module (CTM) connector C2. CTM is located behind left side kick panel. Using DVOM, measure resistance between Gray 16-pin CTM connector C2 terminal No. 4 (Orange/Black wire) and No. 5 (Pink/Black wire). See Figure . If resistance is 3 ohms or less, go to next step. If resistance is more than 3 ohms, check for open in Orange/Black wire between Gray 16-pin CTM connector C2 terminal No. 4 and all door lock motors. Check for open in Pink/Black wire between Gray 16-pin CTM connector C2 terminal No. 5 and all door lock motors. Repair as necessary.
  3. Replace CTM. See CENTRAL TIMER MODULE  under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION.
