Test drive vehicle in all transfer case ranges.

To select/deselect transfer case Neutral, vehicle must be stopped, ignition key must be in ON position with engine off, brake pedal applied and shift lever in Neutral (automatic transmission) or clutch pedal depressed (manual transmission). Move shift lever to Reverse (automatic transmission) or depress clutch, move shift lever into any gear (manual transmission) and release clutch to verify transfer case is in Neutral.
