NOTE: Applies to California vehicles only. The 2/1 HO2S may also be referred to as an upstream oxygen sensor. The 2/1 HO2S is located on front of right catalytic converter.

NOTE: For circuit identification and wiring diagram, see WIRING DIAGRAMS article. If Powertrain Control Module (PCM) is replaced, PCM must be reprogrammed. See PROGRAMMING . After each repair procedure has been completed, reconnect all components. Perform TEST VER-5: OBD-II MONITOR VERIFICATION under VERIFICATION TESTS to ensure system is functioning properly unless otherwise stated.
