DTC P0460: Fuel Level Unit No Change Over Miles Or DTC P0461: Fuel Level Unit No Change Over Time: Testing

Turn ignition off. Release fuel pressure. See FUEL SYSTEM PRESSURE RELEASE . Remove fuel tank. Remove fuel pump module from fuel tank. Fuel pump module is located on top of fuel tank and contains fuel level sensor, fuel pump and fuel supply line fitting. Inspect fuel tank for damage or obstructions which would cause problems with operation of fuel level sensor. If fuel tank is not damaged or obstructed, replace fuel level sensor. If fuel tank is damaged or obstructed, repair or replace fuel tank as necessary.
