Monitored & Set Conditions

Bus messages from the automatic Transmission Controller in the PCM are monitored with ignition in OFF, ON, CRANK OR RUN position and battery voltage more than 10 volts. DTC will set if PCM detects an open circuit on the Fused Ignition Switch Output circuit between PCM harness connector C1 terminal No. 12 and fuse No. 8 (10-amp) in the Junction Block, or no bus messages from Transmission controller for 20 seconds.
