DTC P1388: Auto Shutdown Relay Control Circuit: Description

Auto Shutdown (ASD) relay control circuit is monitored with ignition on and battery voltage more than 10 volts. DTC will set in Powertrain Control Module (PCM) memory when PCM senses a short or open in ASD relay control circuit. Possible causes are: defective ASD relay, fused battery voltage circuit open or shorted, ASD relay control circuit open or shorted or defective PCM.
