DTC P1490: Low Speed Fan Control Relay Circuit: Description

Radiator low speed fan relay voltage is monitored when ignition is on and battery voltage is more than 10 volts. DTC will set in PCM memory if PCM detects an open or shorted condition in low speed radiator fan relay control circuit. Possible causes are: defective low speed radiator fan relay, fused ignition switch output circuit open or shorted, low speed radiator fan relay control circuit open or shorted, or defective PCM.
