Removal & Installation

WARNING: This page does not describe the selected car, but rather 8 other vehicles, including the 2003 Dodge Intrepid, 2003 Chrysler Intrepid, 2003 Chrysler Concorde, 2003 Chrysler 300M, and 2002 Dodge Intrepid. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.

NOTE: Powertrain Control Module (PCM) is located at driver side front corner of engine compartment, between power distribution center and Transmission Control Module (TCM). See Figure.

Disconnect negative battery cable. Remove speed control servo with bracket and wiring harness, and set aside. Remove filler neck from windshield washer fluid bottle. Remove TCM for access to PCM. Remove PCM bolt, and pull PCM outward. Disconnect connectors from PCM. Remove PCM. To install, reverse removal procedure. Program PCM. BODY CONTROL MODULES - CONCORDE, INTREPID & 300M (2002) or BODY DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURES (2003).
