Removal & Installation (Sebring Convertible, Sebring Sedan & Stratus Sedan)

  1. Powertrain Control Module (PCM) is located at driver's side front corner of engine compartment, near power distribution center. See Fig 1. Disconnect negative battery cable.
  2. Remove air cleaner box. Disconnect 2 PCM harness connectors. Remove 2 PCM retaining bolts and one nut. Remove PCM with mounting bracket. Remove PCM from bracket.
  3. To install, reverse removal procedure. Tighten bolts and nut to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS . Program PCM as necessary. See PCM PROGRAMMING .
