Inlet Air Temperature Sensor

Inlet Air Temperature (IAT) sensor delivers input signal to Powertrain Control Module (PCM) to indicate temperature of incoming intake air. PCM uses input signal for controlling fuel injector pulse width and spark advance. Inlet air temperature sensor is mounted to inlet air ducting. See Fig 1 and Fig 2 .
