Park/Neutral Switch (A/T Models)

On 3-speed models, park/neutral switch is located on side of transaxle. See Fig 1 . On 4-speed models, park/neutral switch is located on side of transaxle and may be referred to as Transmission Range (TR) sensor. See Fig 2 . On all models, park/neutral switch delivers input signal to Powertrain Control Module (PCM) to indicate transaxle gear selection. PCM uses input signal for controlling idle speed and ignition system.
