LF Tire Pressure Sensor Battery Low
NOTE:
After making any repairs, perform TIRE PRESSURE VERIFICATION TEST under VERIFICATION TESTS.
- With the DRBIII®, record and erase DTC's. Drive the vehicle for 10 minutes at 20 MPH (32 KM/H). With the DRBIII®, read DTCs. If the DRBIII® displays a Sensor Failure or Sensor Low Battery message, replace the indicated Tire Pressure Sensor/Transmitter. See appropriate TIRE PRESSURE MONITOR SYSTEMS article. If the DRBIII® does not display a Sensor Failure or Sensor Low Battery message, go to the next step.
- Observe the EVIC display. If the EVIC displays SERVICE TIRE PRESS. SYSTEM, replace the EVIC. See REMOVAL & INSTALLATION in ANALOG INSTRUMENT PANELS article. If the EVIC does not display SERVICE TIRE PRESS. SYSTEM, the test is complete.
