Removal & Installation

  1. Disconnect negative battery cable. Power Liftgate Module (PLGM) is located in left rear of vehicle. See Figure. Remove "D" pillar trim panel. Disconnect PLGM connectors. Remove screw attaching PLGM to "D" pillar and remove from vehicle.
  2. To install, reverse removal procedure. Tighten PLGM retaining screw to 14.5 INCH lbs. (2 N.m). Verify power liftgate operation. Cycle liftgate through one open/close cycle so PLGM will relearn cycle.
