Programming Remote Keyless Entry Transmitter Without DRBIII(R)

  1. Enter vehicle and close all doors. Fasten seat belt. Turn ignition on. Using a programmed RKE transmitter, press and hold RKE transmitter UNLOCK button for 4-10 seconds. While pressing UNLOCK button, press PANIC button. Release both UNLOCK and PANIC buttons. A single chime will sound to indicate RKE has entered programming mode. All transmitters that are to be programmed must be done within 30 seconds of when the chime sounds.
  2. Simultaneously press and release both LOCK and UNLOCK buttons on transmitter to be programmed. A single chime will sound. Within 4 seconds of when the chime sounds, press and release either the LOCK or UNLOCK button on the transmitter. Repeat this step to program up to 2 additional transmitters. Vehicle remains in program mode up to 30 seconds from when original chime sounded. After 30 seconds, all programmed transmitters will function normally.
