Using DRBIII(R)

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2002 Dodge Dakota. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Refer to the DRBIII(R) user's guide for instructions and assistance with reading and erasing DTCs, and other DRBIII(R) functions.
  2. Using the DRBIII(R), read DTCs. If any DTC is present, go to appropriate procedure for DTC(s) displayed. See DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE DEFINITIONS  . If no DTCs are present, identify customer complaint and diagnose by symptom(s) present. See SYMPTOM IDENTIFICATION  . When diagnosing a system with many apparent problems, a sequence of tests may be required. After repairs, ensure all problems or failures have been corrected. Perform appropriate verification test. See VERIFICATION TESTS  .
