Headlights Fail To Flash During Alarm

  1. Ensure low beam headlights are operating properly. Repair low beam headlights as necessary. If low beam headlights are operating properly, go to next step.
  2. Turn ignition off. Disconnect 26-pin Remote Keyless Entry (RKE) module connector, located under center of instrument panel top cover. See Figure . Connect a 12-volt test light between RKE module connector terminal No. 1, dimmer switch low beam output circuit and ground. See Figure . Turn low beam headlights on. If test light illuminates, replace RKE module. See REMOTE KEYLESS ENTRY MODULE  under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION. If test light does not illuminate, repair open wire. After making any repairs, perform VTSS VERIFICATION TEST  under VERIFICATION TESTS.
