Powertrain Control Module: Removal

  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  2. Remove and relocate the air cleaner box. See Figure.
  3. Unlock and disconnect the electrical connectors at the PCM. See Figure.
  4. Remove the wiring harness clip from the PCM bracket. See Figure.
  5. Remove the mounting bolts from the bottom of the PCM bracket. See Figure.
  6. Remove the nut.
  7. Remove the PCM and bracket.
