Airbag Control Module: Installation

  1. Connect ACM connector and ensure that the connector and all locking tabs are engaged.
    CAUTION: USE SUPPLIED NUTS ONLY.
  2. Position ACM (arrow pointing forward) in the console floor bracket, attach the nuts and tighten to 9.6 to 14 N.m (85 to 125 in. lbs.) torque.
  3. Install center console assembly. Refer to FLOOR CONSOLE .
WARNING: DO NOT CONNECT THE BATTERY NEGATIVE CABLE. REFER TO DIAGNOSIS AND TESTING - AIRBAG SYSTEM  FIRST. FAILURE TO DO SO COULD RESULT IN OCCUPANT PERSONAL INJURY OR DEATH.
