Remote Start: Operation

Remote engine off is activated by a sequence of button activations (Pushes). This sequence must be completed within 5 seconds of the start. The sequence 5 second remote start timer are started when the remote start button is activated and the remote start timer is not running. The first step of the sequence is completed by having a remote start button activated with the remote start timer not running. The second step is to have no buttons active (pressed). The third step (which must take place within 5 seconds of the start condition, is the reactivation of the remote start button. Upon the third step being met, the FOB will transmit the remote off message. The start timer is forced to be timed out.

The third step is the activation of the remote start button. The fourth step is to have no buttons active (pressed). The fifth step 5 seconds of the remote start condition, is the reactivation of the remote start button. Upon the fifth step being met, the FOB will transmit the remote start message and the remote start timer is forced to be timed out.
