Park/Neutral Position Switch (3-Speed A/T)

Park/Neutral Position (PNP) switch is located on side of transaxle. See Fig 1. Individual component testing information is not available from manufacturer. If PNP switch or wiring circuit failure exists, a DTC may be stored in PCM. See DTC P1899: P/N SWITCH STUCK IN PARK OR IN GEAR (3SP AUTO TRANS) under DIAGNOSTIC TESTS in SELF-DIAGNOSTICS - CARAVAN, TOWN & COUNTRY, & VOYAGER article.
