Diagnostic Test

VERIFY THAT DTC B229B-00-PASSIVE ENTRY MODULE INTERNAL IS ACTIVE
1. Using the scan tool, record and erase the DTCs.
2. Cycle the ignition switch off then back on.
3. Using the scan tool, read the active DTCs.
  Does the DTC B229B-00-PASSIVE ENTRY MODULE INTERNAL reset?
  
  Yes
  - Replace the Passive Entry Module in accordance with the Service Information.
  - Refer to STANDARD PROCEDURE and perform the BODY VERIFICATION TEST.
  No
  - The conditions that caused this code to set are not present at this time. Using the wiring diagram/schematic as a guide, inspect the wiring and connectors.
  - Refer to STANDARD PROCEDURE and perform the BODY VERIFICATION TEST.
