SPECIFICATIONS - TORQUE


















CYLINDER HEAD TORQUE AND SEQUENCE





1. Install the cylinder head to timing case bolts and tighten to 25 Nm (18 ft. lbs.) and then an additional 90 degrees.
2. Install the remaining cylinder head bolts and use a spiral pattern to tighten in five stages:
a. Stage 1 - 20 Nm (177 in. lbs.)
b. Stage 2 - 40 Nm (354 in. lbs.)
c. Stage 3 - 40 Nm (354 in. lbs)
d. Stage 4 - 90 degrees
e. Stage 5 - 90 degrees

CRANKSHAFT TORQUE







EXHAUST MANIFOLD TORQUE

Torque the exhaust manifold bolts to 11 Nm (98 lbs. in.).
