Theory Of Operation

The Steering Control Module (SCM) communicates with other controllers over the CAN C bus. The Drive Train Control Module (DTCM) continuously monitors the bus activity and receives the messages it needs. If the DTCM does not receive messages from the Steering Control Module (SCM) this fault will set.
