Diagnostic Test

  1. CONTROL MODULE PROGRAMMING ERROR 
    NOTE:

    Controller is programmed with generic software and will not allow the correct vehicle Powertrain management.

    1. With the scan tool.
    2. Record the vehicles controller part number.
    3. Select Use Controller Part Number under the Flash Tab.
    4. Flash the controller with the correct software. Refer to MODULE, POWERTRAIN CONTROL, STANDARD PROCEDURE .

      Verify the controller flashed successfully.

      Test Complete
