Intelligent Battery Sensor (IBS) - Removal

REMOVAL





1. Remove the components to access the battery Battery - Removal.

WARNING: Do not remove the captive nut, doing so will cause the stud to break.

2. Loosen the captive nut (1).
3. Disconnect the harness from the Intelligent Battery Sensor (IBS) (2).
4. Remove the IBS (3) from the negative battery post.
5. Remove the negative battery cable retainer to the IBS.
6. Remove the IBS.
