DTC U0184 - Loss Communication With Radio

MODELS:

2013 (PF) Dart

NOTE:
This bulletin is for vehicle built before July 24, 2012 (MDH 0724XX).

DISCUSSION:
There may be a number of modules on Dart models has a condition where diagnostic trouble code (DTC) U0184 - Loss Communication With Radio is set. The vehicles are shipped from the plant in logistics mode or ship mode. One the vehicle is removed from ship mode, the active U0184 will go stored.

Part replacement will not correct this condition. Do not replace any parts.

This condition will not cause any customer concerns, all systems will work properly, and there will be no customer indication or other telltales. Clear the DTC's and return the vehicle back to the customer.

A software update for the Radio is being developed to address this condition.
