Theory Of Operation

The purpose of this diagnostic is to check the rationality of the transmission input speed sensor signal. The transmission input speed should be synchronized with the transmission output speed. The malfunction condition is detected if the measured input speed sensor signal is stuck below a low speed threshold or present above an out of range high speed threshold.
