Module, Powertrain Control: Installation: Diesel

  1. Install the Powertrain Control Module (PCM) (3) onto mounting bracket (1) and securely tighten the nuts (2).

  2. Install the PCM with mounting bracket and securely tighten the bolt (2).
  3. Install the crash sensor wire harness connector (1) to the inner fender.

  4. Connect the PCM wire harness connector (1).

  5. Install the strut support brace (6). Tighten bolts to 38 N.m (28 ft. lbs.).
  6. Install the wiper arm linkage. Refer to LINKAGE, WIPER ARM, INSTALLATION .

  7. Install the engine cover (1).
  8. Connect the negative battery cable.
