Module, Powertrain Control: Removal: Diesel

  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  2. Remove the engine cover (1).

  3. Remove the wiper arm linkage. Refer to LINKAGE, WIPER ARM, REMOVAL .
  4. Remove bolts and the strut support brace (6).

  5. Disconnect the Powertrain Control Module (PCM) wire harness connector (1).

  6. Remove the crash sensor wire harness connector (1) from inner fender.
  7. Remove bolt (2) and the PCM with mounting bracket.

  8. Remove nuts (2) and the PCM (3) from mounting bracket (1).
